Theresa May wins right to stay on in world’s worst job
Theresa May has survived a vote of no confidence. The result means she wins the right to stay on in world’s worst job as British Prime Minister during Brexit negotiations. Mrs May won the backing of the majority of her party despite vicious in-fighting. Now, for a year at least, Mrs May is safe from future no confidence votes and will continue to dance awkwardly on the world stage.
A Tory insider, who preferred to remain anonymous, spoke to Conch News about the result:
“May might be talentless and totally unsuited leadership, but the way she is grimly holding on this poisoned chalice is oddly fascinating. “
